Puppet Theatre Sampo is in the center of Helsinki (Erottajankatu 7, 2nd floor). At the theatre there is also Sampos Fairytale Café. Entrance from the inner court yard (not accessible for disabled).

During the season the theatre is open from Tuesday to Friday 9.30 am – 4.30 pm and during the performances in the evenings and on weekends. You can also reach us by email or phone: +358-20-735 2235. For opening hours bank holidays etc, please check the page “current info”. 

Sampo´s Fairytale Cafe is open only for performances, and opens one hour before the performance starts.

Puppet Theater Sampo is easy to reach with public transport (trams 10, 3, 6, metro Central Railway Station or Helsinki University).

There are few parking spaces near the theater, but next door is Aimo-park Erottaja, for which Sampo’s customers receive a 20% discount (ask for a discount card for theater ticket sales).

Prams/strollers can be left in the sheltered courtyard. There is no space for them in the theater during the performances – outside the performances you are warmly welcomed to the café with the carriages as well.

We have a lift at Erottajankatu 7A, but it is currently under reconstruction.
