    Ticket Sales

The ticket office of Puppet Theatre Sampo is located at the theatre (see opening hours here). Sampo has its own ticket sales at all public performances, also when performances take place outside its own premises. In cultural centres, the ticket sale desk opens 45 minutes before the start of the performance. Tickets can only be purchased on site for that specific performance. Other ticket vendors do not sell tickets for Sampo’s performances.

    Ticket Prices

Tickets for Puppet Theatre Sampo’s evening and weekend performances cost €15 per person, and weekday morning performances €9 per person. The price is the same for adults and children. Children under one year of age also need their own ticket, unless there are older children in the group. For baby performances, a separate ticket must always be purchased for the baby (mentioned separately in the performance information).

Support tickets (€20) are also available for all of our own performances. A support ticket grants a seat at the performance just like a regular ticket. By purchasing a support ticket, you support the theatre’s activities.

Group tickets: Guided children’s groups on weekday mornings €9 per child, instructors €1. Group tickets must be reserved by phone or email.

Prices for Sampo’s adult performances, guest performances, and festival performances vary. Any age recommendation is mentioned in the performance information.

With a Theatre Card, you receive a 50% discount on tickets to the theatre’s own performances (does not apply to guest performances). Maximum two discounted tickets per card. Discounted tickets are available by reservation or at the door only, not from the online shop.

An assistant accompanying a disability card holder is entitled to a free ticket.

At Sampo, you can pay with cash, debit and credit cards, and cultural benefit payments: Edenred, Smartum, and ePassi. Cultural benefits can be used to pay for your own ticket only, not for others, and only on site, not online. Please remember to reserve seats for the performance in advance before coming to the theatre!

    Ticket Delivery and Use

Tickets purchased from the online shop are delivered by email once the order has been processed. If the tickets do not arrive, please check your spam folder.

Online tickets are valid as entry tickets as they are and can be shown on a mobile device screen. If necessary, online tickets can also be found at the theatre’s ticket office under your name.

NOTE! For some users, tickets may not always be delivered due to strict spam filters that completely block the online shop’s address: puoti@nukketeatterisampo.fi. Adding this address to your email contacts usually helps. If the payment has gone through, the tickets will in any case be available at our ticket office under your name. If you want to make sure, you can contact the office.

    Transferring Tickets

If you are unable to attend a performance for any reason, tickets purchased online can be transferred to a later performance by contacting us in advance by phone or email. Tickets can be transferred for use within six months of the original performance date.

Tickets that may become available for sold-out performances can also be inquired about by phone or email.

    Gift Tickets and Gift Cards

We also sell gift tickets (€15 each), group tickets (4 people €50), and gift cards (value freely chosen, can be used for tickets as well as café or shop products). Gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase. We also sell season tickets, which are valid for one season (spring/autumn). The price of a season ticket is €65.
Please remember to always reserve seats in advance by email or phone (not via the website).

    About Age Recommendations

Our performances are suitable for audiences of all ages, and any age recommendation given for some performances is truly just that – a recommendation. You know best whether your child can concentrate on a performance or not. There is no frightening content in our performances. Many performances are also very suitable for school–aged children. All performances feature live music, which helps many children to focus. If you are unsure whether a performance is suitable for your child, you can always ask us for more details about its content.

Age recommendations for adult performances vary, but most adult performances are suitable for approximately 12–14-year-olds. Please check the age recommendation in the performance details.
