By order of the Regional State Administrative Agency (Etelä-Suomen AVI), all public events are prohibited in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. This order is in place at least until 14 March 2021.

We have outlined earlier, that tickets for canceled performances and expired gift tickets can be used until the end of March 2021. This stands for now, but we will inform you later about a possible further extension of the use of tickets.

If the restrictions are removed, we will quickly add performances for both weekdays and weekends.

About the spring 2021 program: before Easter, the program includes MIAU! Easter at the puppet theatre. So far, we have published only a few performances at cultural centers in the metropolitan area. The calendar will be updated as we receive new information on existing restrictions. The last performances in the spring are at the end of May.

Puppet Theatre Sampo is a part of Culture kids project, organized by the city of Helsinki. All children born in Helsinki in 2021 will be invited to the project as godchildren of the theaters of Helsinki. Read more: Culture kids
